Ingredients:
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 6 slices prosciutto
  • 12 asparagus spears, trimmed
  • 100g Provolone cheese, sliced
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Sesame seeds or grated Parmigiano
Recipe:
  1. Prep Asparagus
    Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Toss asparagus with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  1. Assemble
    Cut pastry into squares. Spread Dijon. Layer with prosciutto, 2 asparagus spears, and cheese. Fold two opposite corners over.
  1. Egg Wash & Garnish
    Brush with egg wash. Add sesame seeds or Parmigiano if desired.
  1. Bake
    Place on lined tray. Bake 15–18 mins until golden.
  1. Serve Warm
